COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

// Effective · April 28, 2026

Standards for respect, safety, fair competition, reporting, moderation, and team or clan conduct on the platform.

CodClans is built for competitive gaming communities, clans, teams, and players. Users are expected to compete hard while respecting the Platform and other users.

5.1 Respect and Safety

Do not harass, threaten, dox, stalk, abuse, intimidate, or target other users. Trash talk may be part of gaming culture, but direct threats, hate speech, identity-based attacks, sexual harassment, or real-world intimidation are prohibited.

5.2 Competitive Integrity

Do not cheat, exploit, manipulate results, abuse bugs, submit fake scores, collude, smurf to manipulate ladders, use unauthorized software, or interfere with fair competition.

5.3 Clan and Team Conduct

Clan names, team names, logos, bios, and pages must comply with Platform rules. CodClans may remove or rename teams, clans, profiles, or pages that violate rules or infringe rights.

5.4 Reporting and Enforcement

Users may report rule violations. False or abusive reports may result in enforcement action. CodClans decisions may be made based on available evidence, Platform logs, screenshots, match data, moderator review, and user submissions.

5.5 Moderation Authority

CodClans may warn, mute, restrict, suspend, ban, disqualify, remove content, reset rankings, void matches, or take other action to preserve Platform integrity.
