How to submit copyright complaints and counter-notices, and how CodClans handles repeat infringers and DMCA agent records.
CodClans respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same.
8.1 Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on CodClans infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to:
PlayerGrid Ltd / CodClans.com
930 S 4th St, Ste 209 #6326
Las Vegas, Nevada 89101-6845 USA
Email: [email protected]
Your notice should include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
- your contact information;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
8.2 Counter-Notices
If your content was removed due to a copyright notice and you believe removal was mistaken or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notice. A counter-notice should include the information required by applicable law, including your contact information, identification of removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury, consent to jurisdiction where required, and your signature.
8.3 Repeat Infringer Policy
CodClans may terminate or restrict accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights or submit infringing content.
8.4 DMCA Agent
CodClans should designate and maintain a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office if it seeks to rely on DMCA safe-harbor protections for user-generated content. The DMCA agent information published on CodClans.com should match the information provided to the Copyright Office.
